Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a multimedia play system and a sound channel control method for a multimedia play system. The multimedia play system comprises an earplug type wireless earphone and a portable electronic device. The earplug type wireless earphone comprises a temperature sensor. The portable electronic device comprises a dock connection port, a first wireless module, an audio processor and a controller. The wireless module receives temperature information of the temperature sensor of the earplug type wireless earphone. The audio processor provides a first sound channel signal and a second sound channel signal. If the earplug type wireless earphone is separated from the dock connection port, the controller provides one of the first sound channel signal and the second sound channel signal via the first wireless module to the earplug type wireless earphone. The multimedia play system can automatically selects sound channels.
