Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a touch panel and method for forming the same. The touch panel comprises a transparent substrate, an electrode layer, a protection layer and a plurality of wires, wherein the electrode layer is formed in a touch area of the transparent substrate, the protection layer is formed in a wire area of the transparent substrate, and the wires are formed on the protection layer. According to the touch panel, the protection layer is firstly formed before the wires are arranged so that residual electrode conductive materials in the wire area can be blocked, and the residual electrode conductive materials in the wire area are prevented from causing electrical short circuit of the wires.
