Zusammenfassung:The present invention makes it possible to obtain an alloy steel powder for powder metallurgy that comprises an iron-based powder as a main component thereof and that can be used to produce a sintered body that has high levels of both strength and toughness as a result of comprising each of the following: an iron-based powder that contains a reduced iron powder; 0.2-1.5 mass% of Mo as a percentage of the entire alloy steel powder; and 0.5-4.0 mass% of Cu powder and 0.1-1.0 mass% of graphite powder as percentages of the entire alloy steel powder.
