Method for measuring compression deformation of sealing ring

The invention discloses a method for measuring compression deformation of a sealing ring. The method comprises the following steps: (1) cutting multiple samples from a to-be-tested sealing ring; (2) clamping each sample in a clamp; (3) arranging the clamps tightened with the samples at room temperature, opening a container containing test liquid, putting the clamps into the container and closing the container, and ageing the container in an ageing oven; (4) taking the container out from the ageing oven, opening the container again, taking out the clamps, loosening nuts, taking out the samples, measuring the axial section diameters of the samples before restoration, and restoring the samples; and (5) measuring the axial section diameters of the samples after the restoration; and (6) repeating the steps (2), (3), (4) and (5) until the change rate X of the axial section diameter of the samples after the restoration obtained by two adjacent times of compression measurement is less than 7.5 percent, thereby obtaining the compression deformation of the sealing ring. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the compression deformation of the sealing ring can be accurately measured.
