A sample containing chamber of the device is provided with a gas inlet and a pressure sensor, the gas inlet is communicated with external gas through a first valve connected with the outer side, and the pressure sensor is connected with a first computer; a measuring chamber is provided with the gas inlet, and the gas inlet is communicated with the external gas through the first valve connected with the outside; an oil storage chamber is connected with the measuring chamber through a pipe, the pipe is provided with a second valve, a gas inlet in the oil storage chamber is connected with the pipe, and the pipe is provided with a third valve; an air compressor is connected with the oil storage chamber through a single-channel controller, the single-channel controller is connected with the third valve, the single-channel controller can input the gas output from the air compressor in a fixed-pressure and fixed-flow-velocity mode, the single-channel controller is connected with a second computer, and the pressure and flow velocity of the output gas are achieved through the software on the second computer. By means of the device and method, the volume of irregular solid can be accurately measured, and the device and method are simple, reliable, low in cost and free of pollution to the solid to be tested.
