Zusammenfassung:The invention belongs to the technical field of casting, and relates to a low-temperature high-toughness nodular cast iron winding drum and a preparation method thereof. The low-temperature high-toughness nodular cast iron winding drum is characterized by comprising the following components by mass percentage: 3.6-3.8% of C, 1.8-2.2% of Si, less than 0.2% of Mn, 0.03-0.05% of Mg, 0.01-0.025% of RE, less than 0.020% of S, less than 0.03% of P, less than 0.025% of Ti, less than 0.15% of Ni and the balance Fe. The preparation method of the high-toughness nodular cast iron winding drum comprises the steps of smelting, spheroidizing treatment, primary inoculation treatment, secondary inoculation treatment, annealing and the like. The preparation method is simple. As nodular cast iron does not contain noble metallic elements such as yttrium and lanthanum, the low-temperature high-toughness nodular cast iron winding drum is low in raw material cost and production cost and is easy to popularize and apply.
