The invention discloses a bidirectional stepless supporting mechanism for a multi-car-type passive trolley. The bidirectional stepless supporting mechanism is mounted on a passive trolley platform which runs along a rail and has a locking function. The bidirectional stepless standard supporting mechanism comprises a car length adjusting structure in the car length direction and a car height adjusting structure in the car height direction. The car length adjusting structure comprises a movable base with a transmission unit, linear slide rails in the length direction, a first sliding seat mounted on the linear slide rails in the length direction and a corresponding brake mechanism. The two linear slide rails in the length direction are arranged on the base surface of the passive trolley platform in a left-right parallel and spaced mode, the first sliding seat is fixed on the movable base, and a supporting frame is fixed on the movable base. The bidirectional stepless supporting mechanism is light and simple in structure and can be matched with other multiple adjustable stepless standard supporting mechanisms to achieve multi-car-type stepless switching of the passive trolley.
