Lotus root picking device

The invention discloses a lotus root picking device and relates to an agricultural picking tool. The lotus root picking device is mainly composed of a housing part and a clamping part, wherein the housing part comprises a connecting pipe and an outer cover and an outer jacket which are arranged at the two ends of the connecting pipe; the clamping part comprises a pull rod, a cone, a ratchet wheel and clamping pieces; the cone and the ratchet wheel are arranged at the two ends of the pull rod; the clamping pieces are positioned on the two sides of the cone; a handle is arranged at the outer end of the ratchet wheel; an elastic pin sleeves the outer jacket. The lotus root picking device disclosed by the invention is used for picking lotus roots at the bottom of a pond; when positions of the lotus roots are probed, the clamping pieces are opened to clamp the lotus roots and then are locked by rotating, pushing and pulling the handle, so that operation personnel can easily pick the lotus roots without bending down to extend hands into water, the labor intensity is reduced and the working efficiency is improved.
