The high voltage protection device comprises an aluminium base and a base fixedly connected on the aluminium base, wherein two high voltage connecting and fixing holes are formed in the base; two high voltage wires respectively pass through the high voltage connecting and fixing holes one to one correspondingly; a swing rod type travel switch is installed on the base; a protective cover is installed on the aluminium base in a detachable manner; when the protective cover and the aluminium base are in the installation status, the swing rod type travel switch is turned off and a high voltage loop is switched on; when the protective cover and the aluminium base are in the separation status, the swing rod type travel switch flicks and the high voltage loop is disconnected. The high voltage protection device has the beneficial effects that the electric shock hazards happening when an upper battery cover is independently detached are avoided; the installation protection reliability is improved; the potential safety hazards are reduced.
