The invention discloses a sternum fixator, which comprises a right hoop, a left hoop, strengthening nails and fixing screws, wherein the strengthening nail, which is arranged at the lower end of the right hoop, is arranged at the right end of the right hoop, and the strengthening nail, which is arranged at the lower end of the left hoop, is arranged at the left end of the left hoop; the right hoop and the left hoop are mutually laminated; the left hoop is arranged above the right hoop; and the fixing screws are inserted in a part wherein the right hoop and the left hoop are mutually laminated. The sternum fixator, during an operation, is simple for stopping bleeding in a surgery field (open sternum from a chest median incision), low in blood consumption for the operation and is capable of greatly shortening an operation duration; the sternum fixator is capable of fixing the sternum tightly, preventing the sternum which is poorly fixed from moving and cutting the sternum, so as to reduce blood oozing and fluid oozing in a wound surface after the operation, shorten a time of drawing a drainage tube, relieve pain in patients, reduce cost and reduce the opportunity of mediastinal infection in the patients; the sternum fixator is convenient to detach, and the sternum fixator can conveniently enter the chest when another operation is required in the early period of post-operation and is reusable; and the sternum fixator disclosed by the invention, which is made from a medical steel material, is convenient in material obtaining, low in cost and is capable of greatly reducing cost, and the sternum fixator, when converted into a finished product, is easy in popularization.
