The application provides a method and a device for data access, wherein the method comprises that a data access request requiring access to target data is received, the data access request carries an equipment identification of affiliating equipment of the target data as well as a data identification of the target data; according to the equipment identification, a database document used to store collecting data of the affiliating equipment is acquired; in the database document, a monitoring item data list used to store the collecting data corresponding to the data identification is acquired; and the target data is acquired from the monitoring item data list. The method and the device for the data access provided by the application can reduce the decrease degree of data access performance on the premise of data size increase.
