The invention further discloses a fault location module of a relay protection device. Fault location error caused by line parameter asymmetry can be effectively eliminated. After the method is applied to the relay protection device, the sensitivity and reliability of the relay protection device can be improved. A faulty site can be located accurately, and the workload of the transmission line maintenance staff can be reduced.
