The extrusion type vertical air conditioner is characterized in that the shell is of an integrally-formed structure, and is manufactured through an integrated extrusion and secondary machine-forming technology, and the middle of the shell is hollow to form an inner cavity; at least one air outlet (4) in a vertical strip shape is formed in the front side of the shell in the height direction; at least one air inlet (3) is formed in the rear side of the shell in the height direction; openings communicated with the inner cavity are formed in the upper end and the lower end of the shell; and a plurality of protruding ribs (51) are arranged on the inner wall of the shell (2) in the height direction. The shell of the extrusion type vertical air conditioner is manufactured through the integrated extrusion and secondary machine-forming technology; the number of product assembling components is effectively lowered, and the development cost, production cost, material cost and transportation cost of the vertical air conditioner are reduced; and meanwhile product performance and appearance design are both achieved.
