Antibacterial and deodorant high-water-absorbent resin and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses antibacterial and deodorant high-water-absorbent resin having the formula comprising the following components in parts by weight: 200 parts of acrylic acid, 40-80 parts of sodium hydroxide, 200-300 parts of deionized water, 0.02-2 parts of a beginning cross-linking agent, 4-100 parts of a tea leaf powder or a tea leaf extract, 0.05-0.6 part of an initiator, and 0.2-4 parts of a composite cross-linking agent. The high-water-absorbent resin can be widely applied in hygienic liquid-absorbing products; the added tea leaves and the extract thereof endow the high-water-absorbent resin with excellent antibacterial deodorant properties, and do not affect various absorption properties of the high-water-absorbent resin. The high-water-absorbent resin has the advantages of easily available raw materials, low cost, significant effects, and great economic benefits, social benefits and environmental benefits.
