Transplanter

The invention provides a transplanter whose tray is hard to shift. The transplanter comprises the following components: a tray feeder for supplying a tray; a tray sending and moving device for sending the tray feeder at a transverse direction; a plantation device for planting a seedling in a field; a picking device for picking the seedling from the tray and supplying the plantation device. The tray feeder feeds at a longitudinal direction and returns back, and is a tray longitudinal-feed device that carries out the longitudinally feeding movement and the returning movement repeatedly in a certain period; the tray longitudinal-feed device enters into places between seedling cultivation holes which are closed to each other at longitudinal directions of multiple seedling cultivation holes which are arranged on the tray at longitudinal and horizontal directions by the longitudinally feeding movement, and a horizontal-column amount of seedlings are moved to the seedling cultivation holes by the tray; the tray longitudinal-feed device is pulled out from the places between seedling cultivation holes by the returning movement and enters to the places between seedling cultivation holes of the next column. The picking device is provided with a picking tool which can enter into the seedling cultivation holes for fetching seedlings, during the period that the picking tool enters into the seedling cultivation holes, the tray longitudinal-feed device completes the returning movement.
