The remote switch system of the power distribution equipment comprises an upper computer server, a master controller, at least one client side and at least one serial node. The client sides are used for sending user control instructions to the upper computer server according to corresponding rights and/or user operation, the upper computer server is used for sending the user control instructions or a first communication instruction of the upper computer server to the master controller, the master controller is used for responding to the first communication instruction or the user control instructions or a second communication instruction of the master controller so that the power distribution equipment corresponding to the nodes can be controlled to execute power on-off action. Control is more convenient and flexible, and safe reliability is improved.
