The air-conditioner-based intelligent terminal instrumented sleep system comprises an air conditioner host machine and an intelligent terminal, wherein the intelligent terminal comprises a built-in operating system and a music control system; the air conditioner host machine comprises an MCU (microprogrammed control unit) control chip; application software is set in the intelligent terminal; and the application software is capable of selecting the operating mode of the air conditioner host machine through the MCU control chip, and playing sleep music in the sleep stage through the music control system controlled by the operating system and adjusting the music volume according to the set music control curve in the selected operating mode. The sleep system and control method can implement the instrumented sleep solution of comprehensive perception and adjustment of touch, smell, hearing and vision in the sleep stage.
