The invention discloses a contraction folding ladder, which comprises a fixed frame, a connecting frame and a movable frame, wherein the fixed frame is fixedly arranged on a fixed object and comprises two fixing rods in parallel arrangement; the connecting frame is movably connected with the fixed frame; the movable frame comprises support rods and telescopic rods connected with the support rods through telescopic elements; the support rods and the fixing rods are in one-to-one corresponding arrangement and are movably connected; the telescopic rods are movably connected with the connecting frame through a chain via a pedal; when the contraction folding ladder is in an unfolded state, the end parts of the support rods are flushed with the end parts of the fixing rods, or are higher than the end parts of the fixing rods. The contraction folding ladder has the advantages that the fixed frame is fixedly arranged on a bed frame of a student dormitory; the rest influencing sound given when people get on or get off from a bed and the swinging generated in the process can be eliminated; a certain degree of potential safety hazards is greatly reduced; the ladder can be contracted and folded; the occupied space is reduced; the placement is convenient.
