Spinning method and spinning apparatus

A spinning method includes supporting a supported portion (4a) of a cylindrical work (4) by a work supporting portion (3); pressing a first roller (12A) of a spinning head (7) against a processed portion of the work (4) while revolving the first roller (12A); and performing a forming process that points a tube axis of the processed portion of the work (4) in a given direction by pressing the first roller (12A) and a second roller (12B) in which a plane of revolution (PL2) thereof is provided in a different position, in a rotational axis direction of a spindle (10) of the spinning head (7), than a plane of revolution (PL1) of the first roller (12A), while revolving the first roller (12A) and the second roller (12B), and moving the work supporting portion (3) relative to the spindle head (7) or moving the spindle head (7) relative to the work supporting portion (3), while the first roller (12A) and the second roller (12B) work in cooperation with each other to retain the work (4).
