The method comprises the following steps: initializing hardware drives of a television; configuring the potential state of a GPIO interface as a first level and playing audio and video indicating the opening of a television; monitoring the change of the potential state of the GPIO interface; playing the audio and video of a television program when the monitored potential state of the GPIO interface is switched from the first level to a second level.
