Railway material management system and management method

The invention discloses a railway material management system which comprises a tool, a work card, a scanning terminal, a network and a management platform. The scanning terminal is connected with the management platform through the network. The system is characterized in that a passive ultrahigh frequency tag (RFID tag) is posted on the tool; the scanning terminal is an RFID reader; and the RFID reader is used for reading the RFID tag. The management method comprises at least the steps of work starting, preparation, fieldwork and work completing. At the beginning of the work, a task work order needing work on each line is led into the management platform. At the stage of preparation, needed machine tools which are provided for each section warehouse are prepared. At the stage of fieldwork, field staffs receive the machine tools according to task work orders and carry out scanning to confirm whether the machine tools are missing. After the work is completed, the machine tools are stored, and scanning is carried out before storage to determine whether all machine tools are stored.
