Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the technical field of power control of electric automobiles and provides a power switching control method for an electric automobile. The control method comprises the steps that the residual electric quantity of a power battery, the discharge current of the power battery and the consumption current of a motor are detected respectively and are compared with preset control parameter data, and the on-state of a range extender is judged, so that switching between the power supply mode and the range extending mode of the battery is achieved. In the range extending mode, power is supplied to the electric automobile by the power battery and the range extender at the same time, so that the operating load of the power battery is reduced, and the service life of the battery is prolonged; meanwhile, the use requirement for the power battery of the electric automobile is met, and the driving mileage of the electric automobile is increased; in addition, the capacity of the battery can be reduced, and cost of the automobile is reduced.
