The invention discloses a passive trolley platform suitable for multiple vehicle types. The passive trolley platform is used for carrying a supporting component which is used for fixing a vehicle type workpiece to be machined. The passive trolley platform comprises a platform base plane, first angle iron used for locating and fixing the passive trolley platform is arranged at the bottom of the platform, first through holes are formed in the first angle iron, and the axis of each first through hole is perpendicular to the walking direction of a passive trolley. The quantity of the first angle iron is two, and the two pieces of first angle iron are arranged on the left side and the right side of the passive trolley respectively. A locking device is arranged on a rail where the passive trolley walks. The locking device comprises a controller, a cylinder and a first touch switch, wherein the cylinder and the first touch switch are connected with the controller. The passive trolley platform is light and simple in structure; a walking power source and a power source of a switching mechanism of the passive trolley are both independently arranged outside the passive trolley, so that the weight of the trolley is reduced, and the trolley is lighter and simpler.
