Ultrasonic endoscope

This ultrasonic endoscope has: an ultrasonic vibrator unit (20) that transmits and receives ultrasonic waves from a rectangular upper surface; an acoustic lens (23), which forms a quadrangular prism shape by covering the upper surface and side surfaces of the ultrasonic vibrator unit (20), and which has a chamfered portion formed by chamfering at least one corner of the four corners of the quadrangular prism shape; a housing (30), which houses the ultrasonic vibrator unit (20) and the acoustic lens (23), and which has a rectangular first opening (31) having the quadrangular prism-shaped acoustic lens (23) fitted therein, and a second opening (32) that leads out a cable (21) from the inside of the first opening (31), said housing forming, between the chamfered portion and corners of the first opening (31), an adhesive flow out port, i.e., a gap for having the adhesive flow out; and an adhesive (33), with which the adhesive flow out port is filled by applying the adhesive to the inside of the housing (30).
