The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a system for controlling remote control, a response method of control on remote control and a terminal. The response method comprises the following steps that: the terminal outputs own identification bit in response to an identification bit search key value carried in an infrared carrier sent by a remote controller; the terminal receives the identification bit of a target terminal specified by a user; the terminal judges whether the own identification bit is the identification bit of the target terminal specified by the user; and only when the own identification bit is the identification bit of the target terminal specified by the user, can the terminal execute a control command corresponding to a control key value in response to the control key value carried in the infrared carrier sent by the remote controller. Thus, only when the terminal is the target terminal which the user really needs to control currently, can the control command corresponding to the control key value be executed; if the terminal is not the target terminal which the user really needs to control currently, the control command corresponding to the control key value is not executed, so, the problem of disorder of control is avoided, and control accuracy is improved.
