Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a group announcement showing method and device of an instant messaging application. The group announcement showing method may comprise the steps of: receiving a group announcement aiming at any instant messaging group; and showing the group announcement in an information receiving and transmitting page which corresponds to the any instant messaging group, wherein the group announcement and the instant messaging information in the information receiving and transmitting page are shown discriminatively. Through the technical scheme, group members can view the group announcement in a simplified manner, and user experience is improved.
