The present invention discloses a method and device for obtaining NTP time information based on an android system. The method comprises: creating an NTP time process after detecting that a system service process of a System Server is started, wherein the NTP time process is used for obtaining the NTP time information; interacting with a network protocol interface of the android system with a preset access period, and obtaining a return value of the network protocol interface, wherein the return value is used for identifying whether a normal Internet network connection can be built on the network protocol interface; and building the Internet network connection with a target NTP time server according to the return value, and obtaining the first NTP time information. The embodiment of the present application does not need to passively delay to send a systemready broadcast, or set a waiting page in a Launcher. The present application can obtain the NTP time information in advance, thereby shortening the time that a user waits for interactive business, and improving the user experience.
