Zusammenfassung:Provided is a vibration-proof bush having a novel structure, in which spring characteristics of being firm in a direction perpendicular to an axis and pliant in a prying direction can be achieved while excellent durability is secured. An outer tube member (14) placed on the outer peripheral side of an inner shaft member (12) is provided with a pair of first inclined tube parts (28) that gradually decrease in diameter outward in an axial direction on both sides of the axial direction, and a pair of second inclined tube parts (30) extending farther axially outward from the axial-direction ends of the first inclined tube parts (28), at lesser angles of inclination than the first inclined tube parts (28). After the outer tube member (14) is placed on the outer peripheral side of the inner shaft member (12) and connected thereto by a main rubber elastic body (16), a drawing process is performed on the pair of second inclined tube parts (30) in the outer tube member (14) to increase the angles of inclination, whereby the deformation extends to the axial-direction ends of the main rubber elastic body (16).
