Zusammenfassung:	A light cover (20) for an elongate illumination system (1) has a substantially planar, elongate light-emitting element (21) and securing strips (25) provided on the longitudinal sides of the light-emitting element (21), said securing strips being provided for securing the light cover (20) to a light housing (2). The light-emitting element (21) and the securing strips (25) are made of different materials and the material of the securing strips (25) is more flexible than the material of the light-emitting element (21).
