The invention discloses an earphone contact pin polishing robot, comprising a feeding mechanism, a contact pin position identification mechanism, a contact pin orientation mechanism, a contact pin polishing mechanism, an overturning and surface changing mechanism, a discharging mechanism, a contact pin fixture, a distribution box, a machine platform, a rotary table and a transparent acrylic cover, wherein the machine platform is located at the upper open end of the distribution box, the rotary table is installed on the machine platform, the feeding mechanism, the contact pin position identification mechanism, the contact pin orientation mechanism, the contact pin polishing mechanism, the overturning and surface changing mechanism and the discharging mechanism are installed on the machine platform and are located on the surrounding of the rotary table, the contact pin fixture is installed on the periphery of the rotary table, and a clutch and a high- precision slicer are installed in the distribution box to control the operation of the earphone contact pin polishing robot. The invention further discloses an automatic polishing method adopted by the polishing robot. The earphone contact pin polishing robot disclosed by the invention is used for automatically polishing earphone contact pin in high efficiency and high quality.
