Seat frame of a vehicle seat

The invention relates to a seat frame of a vehicle seat, comprising a first frame part; a second frame part; a fitting which connects the first frame part to the second frame part in a pivotal manner about a pivot axis; a first fitting part, which is connected to the first frame part, of the fitting; and a second fitting part, which is connected to the second frame part, of the fitting, said second fitting part being adjustable relative to the first fitting part in order to pivot the first frame part and the second frame part relative to each other. At least one of the first fitting part and the second fitting part has an annular collar surface which rotates about the pivot axis, which points radially outward, and via which the corresponding fitting part is connected to an annular bearing portion of the corresponding frame part, said bearing portion delimiting an opening. The collar surface (310; 324) and the bearing portion (400; 200) which delimits the opening (40; 20) contact each other without any gaps at least at specified sections (325, 327, 201), thereby producing a radial pre-tensioning force in the direction of the pivot axis (S). In this manner, a seat frame is provided with which the attachment of the fitting part to a corresponding frame part is improved with a simple connecting process.
