Connection switching method and device

The disclosure discloses a connection switching method and device, and belongs to the field of wireless communication. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a working frequency band corresponding to current connection between a terminal and a router, wherein the working frequency band is a frequency band of 2.4G or 5G; measuring the signal quality of a wireless signal received by the terminal; detecting whether or not the working frequency band and the signal quality conform to a switching condition; and if so, switching the connection between the terminal and the router to connection corresponding to another frequency band. According to the disclosure, the signal quality of the wireless signal received by the terminal via the current connection is measured by acquisition of the working frequency band corresponding to the current connection between the terminal and the router, and the connection between the terminal and the router is switched to the connection corresponding to another frequency band in the frequency band of 2.4G and the frequency band of 5G when detection indicates that the working frequency band corresponding to the current connection and the signal quality conform the switching condition in order to provide better network connection for a user, so that the user experience is improved.
