Mobility state estimate enhancement method and device based on switching type specific weight

The invention discloses a mobility state estimate enhancement method and device based on a switching type specific weight and relates to the technical field of mobile communications. The method comprises: determining the switching type of a mobile terminal according to the types of a source cell and a target cell when a serving cell is switched for the mobile terminal; obtaining a specific weight of the present switching according to the current mobility state and the switching type of the mobile terminal, and accumulating historical switching weights in an MSE sliding window; estimating the mobility state of the mobile terminal based on the result of switching weight accumulation in the MSE sliding window; and when the mobility state of the mobile terminal changes, modifying the switching configuration of the mobile terminal by use of the MeasConfig information units of an RRC-connected reconfiguration message. The method has the advantages that the correlation of the prediction result of the mobility state estimate to an actual speed and predicted long-time stability are improved and the overhead of the network broadcasting cell switching weights is reduced; meanwhile, the switching success rate of the mobile terminal is increased based on the accurate mobility state estimate result.
