Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to motor drive with silicon carbide MOSFET switches. Motor drive power conversion systems (10) are provided including a rectifier (30) and a switching inverter (50), wherein the switching devices of the rectifier (30), the inverter (50) and/or of a DC/DC converter (42) are silicon carbide switches, such as silicon carbide MOSFETs. Driver circuits (70) are provided for providing bipolar gate drive signals to the silicon carbide MOSFETs, including providing negative gate-source voltage for controlling the off state of enhancement mode low side drivers and positive gate-source voltage for controlling the off state of enhancement mode high side drivers.
