Method and apparatus for cracking password of Oracle database account

The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for cracking a password of an Oracle database account. The method comprises: modifying system tablespace via an Oracle block browser and editing tools; setting a block address of a data block storing a super administrator password in the system tablespace; calling a function to obtain the super administrator password stored in the data block; setting a value of an obtained field storing the super administrator password to a new super administrator password; and after determining the new super administrator password is set successfully, restarting an Oracle database to obtain data. The method described above causes a data file of the data block to be directly read by using a BBED tool, so that a user can find the data block storing the super administrator password and reset the data block, and then the user can log in to the Oracle database to obtain the data. Accordingly, the user can log in to the Oracle database to obtain the data, regardless of which authentication mode is employed in the Oracle database.
