Image display method and device based on target object

The application provides an image display method based on a target object. The method comprises receiving a first image which contains a target object and is uploaded through a mobile terminal; extracting feature information of the target object in the first image; searching a second image which contains the target object and matches the feature information of the first image on the internet; recognizing position information, on the second image, of the target object of the second image; distinguishing a target area containing the target object and a non-target area containing no target object based on the position information; and displaying the target area and the non-target area according to different displaying effects. By adopting the image display method and device, a target object in an image can be more easily distinguished.
