Multifunctional test instrument and multifunctional test test method

The invention discloses a multifunctional test instrument and a multifunctional test method. The multifunctional test instrument includes a CPU, at least two first interfaces connected with the CPU, and a display connected with the CPU; the two first interfaces are configured to be connected with two ends of a cable to be tested respectively, wherein the cable to be tested can be cables provided with quantitatively-different pins; the CPU is configured to provide input signals for the cable to be tested and transmit a first instruction to the display as well as receive output signals from the cable to be tested and transmit a second instruction to the display; and the display is configured to display input information according to the first instruction and display output information according to the second instruction so as to enable test personnel to determine the on-off states of the cable to be tested according to the input information and the output information. With the multifunctional test method provided by the embodiment of the invention adopted, cables with quantitatively-different pins can be tested, and therefore, test cost can be greatly reduced. The multifunctional test method has high applicability.
