The imitation plating powder coating comprises, by weight, 80% to 90% of carboxyl-terminated saturated polyester resin, 6% to 10% of triglycidyl isocyanurate, 7% to 9% of carboxyl-terminated saturated polyester resin, 2% to 2.5% of isophorone, 0.8% to 1% of leveling agent, 1% to 1.5% of silver powder, and 0.5% to 0.7% of pure fluorine wax, adding up to 100%. The powder coating is not less than 100% in gloss; the silver powder is directionally arranged on the surface of the melt high-viscosity powder coating; the surface of a coating film reflects like a metallically reflecting chrome-plated mirror; the preparation method is simple, the raw materials are easy to obtain, and the powder coating is easy to popularize and apply and has significant economic and social benefits.
