The invention discloses a ship oil consumption lowering method which solves the technical problem that at present, the optimal navigation parameters in a ship navigation state can not be given in real time. The method includes the following steps of installing a ship parameter and oil consumption measuring device on each measured ship, transmitting parameters and oil consumption of each ship to a server by means of a network through the measuring device on the ship, analyzing the parameters and oil consumption data of each ship through the server to obtain the optimal navigation parameter in the current state from a database, transmitting the optimal navigation parameters to the corresponding ships through the server and displaying the optimal navigation parameters on instruments of cockpits. By means of the method, a driver of each ship can drive the ship according to the optimal oil consumption parameter of the ship and can keep the low oil consumption of the ship, and therefore the energy conservation aim is achieved.
