The invention discloses a vehicle rearview mirror comprising a rearview mirror body and a backward lighting lamp body; the bottom of the rearview mirror body is connected with the backward irradiating lamp body; a connecting surface between the rearview mirror body and the backward irradiating lamp body protrudes from an irradiating lamp surface of the backward irradiating lamp body, and shields upward light of the backward irradiating lamp body; a lighting irradiation angle of the backward irradiating lamp body deviates downwards from the horizontal line for an angle of 5-12 degrees; the backward lighting lamp body is connected with a head lighter switch shift of a car light control switch through a control circuit synchronized with a head lighter control circuit. When a driver drives in night time, the car light switch can be opened so as to control the backward irradiating lamp body to irradiate,in synchronization; the light will not affect the driver from watching the rearview mirror, so the driver can clearly watch vehicle rear conditions, thus enlarging observation visual field, and better warning the vehicle driving in high speed.
