Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a desulfurizer used for removing H2S and a method for removing H2S. The desulfurizer contains a Fe-based ionic liquid, a solvent and zinc chloride, and the employed solvent is an aprotic organic solvent, and is capable of promoting dissolving and diffusion of acidic H2S gas in the desulfurizer and enabling the Fe-based ionic liquid to directly oxidize H2S gas into a sulfur simple substance, and thus a sulfur simple substance is rapidly generated at a relatively low temperature. The desulfurizer also can be reusable by adding an oxidant, is green, environment-friendly, and low in cost.
