Every 100ml of injection comprises the following components: 5-20g of dextriferron, 1-10g of mequindox, 1-20g of cosolvent, 0.1-1.0g of antioxidant and the balance of water for injection, wherein the cosolvent is one or more than two of Tween80, sodium salicylate, sodium citrate, sodium tartrate and PEG 6000; the antioxidant is one or more than two of thiourea, sodium metabisulphite, vitamin C, sodium hydrogen sulphite and sodium sulphite; and a pH regulator is hydrochloric acid, glacial acetic acid, ethanol amine or sodium hydroxide. The veterinary compound dextriferron injection has good hematogenesis and dysentery stopping effects and can be used for treating iron-deficiency anemia of newborn piglets, blood is enriched while escherichia coli-induced diarrhea of the piglets can be prevented and treated, and survival rate of the newborn piglets can be obviously improved.
