Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for hybridizing and breeding water dropwort, and belongs to the field of water dropwort breeding. The method for hybridizing and breeding the water dropwort includes pollinating water dropwort female parents by the aid of male parent pollen on the 2nd-5th days of blooming of the water dropwort female parents bloom; harvesting hybrid seeds. The hybrid seeds of the water dropwort are further stored by the aid of sand, then germination is accelerated, and the hybrid seeds are high in germination rate. As indicated by stigma receptivity detection results, stigmas are high in receptivity on the 4th-5th days of blooming of the water dropwort and are non-receptive from the 1st day to the 2nd day of blooming and on the 6th day of blooming; as indicated by pollen activity detection results, the pollen of the water dropwort is high in activity from the beginning of blooming to 6h after the water dropwort blooms; as indicated by the results, female and male organs of the water dropwort not only are separated from one another in space domains, but also are separated from one another in time domains, and the water dropwort only can be fertilized and can set fruit under geitonogamy or xenogamy conditions. Emasculation can be omitted, and the method for hybridizing and breeding the water dropwort has the advantages of high fruit setting rate, obvious hybridization merits and the like. Besides, foundation can be laid for creating water dropwort resources and selectively breeding novel varieties. |
