Cutting device

The invention discloses a cutting device (10) which comprises: a transport mechanism (20) for transporting a continuous fastener chain (1); and a cutting mechanism (90) having an upper blade (91) and a die (92), said upper blade (91) and said die (92) cutting the continuous fastener chain (1), and the cutting mechanism (90) also having a drive section (93) for driving the upper blade (91). The cutting mechanism (90) comprises: a magnet (95) having a contact surface (95a) that attracts and positions the upper blade (91) by magnetic force, and attached to an upper blade holder (94); and a fastening means (102) for removably attaching the upper blade (91), which is attracted and held at a predetermined position by the magnet (95), to the upper blade holder (94). Thus, the upper blade (91) can be replaced without positional adjustment, and consequently, the upper blade (91) can be reliably and efficiently attached in a short period of time.
