Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a control circuit system for trailer lamps of an automobile and a detection method. The control circuit system comprises a turn light switch, a brake lamp switch, a main vehicle turn light, a trailer turn light, a main vehicle brake lamp, a trailer brake lamp, a body controller and an instrument controller, wherein the main vehicle turn light, the trailer turn light, the main vehicle brake lamp and the trailer brake lamp are connected with the output terminal of a drive circuit, and at least a micro-control unit and a drive circuit are arranged on the body controller. The body controller controls the trailer turn light and the brake lamp, and a diagnosis micro-control unit on the body controller acquires the end voltage to distinguish the load types, and conducts fault diagnosis for the loads. Fault information is displayed on the screen of an instrument.
