The invention discloses a method for quickly focusing on a face. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining the focusing position of a main camera; according to the focusing position, working out a predetermined number of adjacent focusing positions according to predetermined rules, and sending the adjacent focusing positions to an auxiliary camera to allow the auxiliary camera to shoot a predetermined number of pictures; obtaining the picture shot by the main camera according to the focusing position, and processing the picture to obtain a face focusing position; detecting whether the face focusing position exists in the adjacent focusing positions; if yes, achieving successful focusing; and if no, sending the face focusing position to the main camera to allow the main camera to adjust the focal length according to the face focusing position and obtain the picture, and repeating the above-mentioned processes until successfully focusing. The method can quickly focus on the face. The invention also discloses a device and a terminal for quickly focusing on the face.
