Method and system for setting active/standby relationship of double-mainboard OLT equipment

The invention provides a method and system for setting an active/standby relationship of double-mainboard OLT equipment. The OLT equipment comprises two main control panels. The method comprises after the OLT equipment is electrified, judging whether the two main control panels are provided with active-use sign files; and, if only one main control panel in the two main control panels is provided with the active-use sign file, setting the main control panel with the active-use sign file as an active-use control panel, otherwise, setting one main control panel as an active-use control panel according to a sequence of groove positions where the two main control panels are located. Compared with a mode that a control panel with a fixed small groove position number is commonly used as an active-use control panel, through remembering an active/standby relationship before starting, the design guarantees that the original active/standby relationship still remain the same after the starting, so the system has relative powerful and mature functions and is relative convenient and human-friendly in use.
