Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides an electric car charging information display apparatus and a control method. The apparatus is applied to an electric car. The electric car comprises an instrument controller which is connected with an electric car power system controller on the electric car and receives battery electric quantity information of the current electric car, sent by the electric car power system controller in real time, wherein the instrument controller comprises multiple interfaces. The apparatus comprises a charging line connection indication module and a group of charging indication modules, wherein the control end of the charging line connection indication module and the control end of each charging indication module in the group of charging indication modules are respectively correspondingly connected with one interface on the instrument controller; the charging line connection indication module is used for indicating whether the charging line of the electric car is connected; and the group of charging indication modules are used for indicating the battery electric quantity information of the current electric car. According to the invention, the battery electric quantity information of the current electric car is displayed through the electric car charging information display apparatus, the operation is simple, and the application is convenient.
