Method and apparatus for accessing to slave module in APB bus system

Embodiments of the invention disclose a method and an apparatus for accessing to a slave module in an APB bus system. The method comprises: according to an address signal of an access request, determining a target slave module of the access request; only synchronizing a chip selection signal of the access request to a clock domain of the target slave module; sending the chip selection signal synchronized to the clock domain of the target slave module to the target slave module for responding to access operation; and synchronizing a handshake signal sent by the target slave module after the completion of the access operation to a clock domain of an APB bus. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiments, the access to the slave module hung at the lower part of an APB bridge is efficiently finished and the power consumption of a chip is effectively reduced.
