The invention discloses a detection device for transverse cracks and longitudinal cracks of a glass bottle opening. The detection device comprises a bottle opening, an LED light source and a crack detection head, wherein the crack detection head is a high-speed photodiode; the crack detection head is connected with a control plate; the control plate is connected with a PC (Personal Computer); light rays emitted from the LED light source form light spots on the bottle opening and are reflected into the crack detection head by an angle of 90 degrees. The detection device for transverse cracks and longitudinal cracks of the glass bottle opening can be used for real-time detection on a production line, is convenient and fast, and can be used for accurately measuring cracks of the bottle opening.
